kustomize-overlay-diff — what an overlay really does to its base

Every kustomize repository grows overlays nobody can read: three levels of bases, a patch that stopped matching anything two refactors ago, an image tag pinned in two places with different values. kustomize-overlay-diff answers the only question that matters at review time: what does this overlay actually do to the base, and is any of it dead?
